Definition of clinical entities associated with CH

Clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) 
 • Presence of somatic mutation(s) in gene(s) associated with hematologic malignancies 
 • Normal hemogram 
 • No clinical of pathological evidence of hematologic malignancy 
Age-related clonal hematopoiesis (ARCH) 
 • Any CH associated with aging 
Clonal cytopenia of undetermined significance (CCUS) 
 • Presence of somatic mutation(s) in gene(s) associated with hematologic malignancies 
 • Presence of clinically relevant and persistent cytopenia in 1 or more peripheral blood cell lineages 
 • Diagnostic criteria of myeloid neoplasm not fulfilled 
 • No other causes of cytopenia and molecular aberration 
Idiopathic cytopenia of undetermined significance (ICUS) 
 • Presence of clinically relevant and persistent cytopenia in 1 or more peripheral blood cell lineages 
 • Not explained by any other disease 
 • Diagnostic criteria of myeloid neoplasm not fulfilled
