  • Rebound thy mic hyperplasia in young patients (< 40 years)

  • Post-therapy inflammatory changes (early post-chemotherapy; up to at least 2–3 months after radiotherapy/ chemoradiotherapy)

  • Infectious or inflammatory processes (e.g., sarcoid)

  • Brown fat (PET/CT will help in interpretation)
