Quantitative, real-time PCR analyses of mRNA concentrations were determined using TaqMan probes. Expression levels were standardized to levels of GAPDH mRNA by calculating cycle thresholds (Ct). ΔCt = Slc35D3 Ct − GAPDH Ct. Values are mean ± SEM of 3 separate mouse samples. RNA was combined from the platelets isolated from 3 mice.
