IL-1R (IL-1RI and IL-1RAcP) expression is detected RT-PCR in several stromal cell lines derived from different embryonic and adult mouse tissues. No IL-1β expression could be detected in these cell lines and IL-1α expression was only detected in the adult BM-derived FBMD-1 stromal cell line. Expression of the IL-1 decoy receptor (IL-1RII) was detected in some of the stromal cell lines tested. Expression levels of these transcripts are indicated by their relative expression levels, with ++ indicating very high expression; +, high expression; ±, low expression; and −, no expression detected.
