Kdapp values (nM) of WT protein S and the Asp95 protein S mutant for phospholipid vesicles and conformational domain-specific monoclonal antibodies are expressed as mean plus or minus SD of 3 independent experiments performed in duplicate. Binding of WT protein S and the Asp95 mutant to phospholipids and domain-specific monoclonal antibodies was analyzed by Mann-Whitney test; results were not statistically significant (P > .05).
