DCs were preactivated with LPS and afterward cocultured without (DCact) and with fibroblasts (DCact-Fb) overnight. HLA-DR (percentage positive cells and mean), CD11c, and iNOS (percentage positive cells) were measured by flow cytometry. IL-23, IL-12, IL-6, TGF-β, IL-1β, and TNF-α protein levels were measured by ELISA.
