Table 4

Multivariate analysis for survival in adult AML patients who underwent HLA-identical sibling (MRD) HCT or 8/8 or 7/8 MUD HCT from 2002-2006 in the United States

Death, RR (95 % CI)P
8/8 MUD vs MRD 1.03 (0.90-1.17) .62
7/8 MUD vs MRD
    Early (≤ 6 mo after HCT) 1.40 (1.15-1.70) < .001
    Late (> 6 mo) 0.88 (0.69-1.12) .30
7/8 MUD vs 8/8 MUD
    Early (≤ 6 mo after HCT) 1.35 (1.13-1.62) < .001
    Late (> 6 mo) 0.85 (0.68-1.07) .17

Factors that were significant in the final model include recipient age, KPS, disease status at transplantation, and cytogenetic findings at diagnosis.
