Monocytes were permitted to migrate for 90 minutes across polycarbonate membranes with a pore size of 5 μm. Different concentrations of plasmin were placed in the upper and/or lower compartments of the Transwell chambers. Results represent the mean ± SEM for migrated monocytes in 7 oil-immersion fields counted in triplicate from 4 experiments.
