A total of 5 × 106 BALB/c spleen cells was primed with 5 × 106 C57BL/6 irradiated spleen cells in absence of peptide (left) or presence of CD31 peptide (right) or control peptide (20 μg/mL). Primed cells were restimulated with fresh stimulator C57BL/6 cells or CBA cells or ConA 2 μg/mL and also IL-2 200 IU per well was added to the additional wells, where primed cells were restimulated with irradiated BALB/c stimulator. Results are expressed as cpm from triplicate cultures. Typical standard deviations were <20% of the mean. Cells primed in the presence of control peptide showed the similar results to cells primed without peptide (data not shown).
