The differences between the absolute numbers of DP thymocytes obtained after coculture with BALB.D2 thymic (or splenic) DC and BALB.D2 splenic B cells were statistically significant as assessed by the Student's t-test (P < .0005 for data at 36 hours; P < .0025 for data at 60 hours).
