Mean ± SD. The transgenic group contains data from founderlines 1038, 1039, 1043, and 1053. Data are for 4- to 12-week-old mice; transgenic and wild-type mice are age-matched. Body weights were determined for 7- to 9-week-old mice from founderlines 1038 and 1043, and their wild-type littermates. The data are for five males and five females per genotype.
