The number of bone marrow (BM) cells, splenocytes, and % of Lin cells was determined in wt and Gfi1b-deficient mice. The increase in number of splenocytes is mostly due to increase of number of erythroid progenitors. HSCs are defined by immunophenotype as Lin, Sca-1+, Kit+, CD150+, CD48. Depicted are mean values, SEM, and number of samples. P values are based on unpaired 2-sided t test.
