Mice transfected with K1-expressing plasmid are protected against the lethal effects of anti-Fas (Jo2) antibody

C57/B6 mice and were transfected intravenously with 100 μg plasmid and after 18 hours, inoculated with 0.4 μg/g mouse weight of Jo2 anti-Fas antibody. The number of surviving mice was counted after 6 hours. K1-transfected mice showed a significantly higher percentage of survival compared with vector-transfected mice.
