Locations of an arbitrary number of adherent RBC on EC monolayers in three separate experiments were tabulated. These distributions reflect locations only, not quantitative differences in overall adherence. RBC adhered primarily to the sides of EC that were pulled apart, and the distribution did not change after thrombin treatment.
