Mean number of MK colonies ± SEM (revealed by immunocytochemistry) after 10 days of culture in serum-free fibrin-clot conditions, without growth factor (0) with PEG-rhuMGDF 10 ng/mL, with the soluble Mpl receptor at 5 μg/mL (sMpl-Fc), or with a combination of sMpl-Fc (5 μg/mL) and PEG-rhu MGDF (PEG-rhuMGDF + sMpl-Fc). Results are expressed for 1 × 103 CD34+ cells of TE (t) or PMF (m) patients.
