A graft composed of 10% to 20% of the number of cryopreserved mononuclear marrow cells (MNC) expected to provide timely hematopoietic reconstitution16 17 was infused.
Grafts expanded for 10 days in PMVEC coculture from 8.1 and 8.4 × 106 CD34+ cells/kg.
The number of MNC and CD34+ cells were directly enumerated. CFU-GM, BFU-E, CFU-Mix, and CAFC were determined by assay. Total body weight of the recipients ranged from 8.5 to 11 kg.
