Low level viral production occurs after infection of CLL cells with attenuated adenoviruses. CLL cells from patient 7 were infected with Ad5dl309, the E1A− virus, Pac3, or Ad5ts125. Supernatants from the indicated infections were obtained 3 and 10 days after infection and titered by plaque formation. Plaque assays were undertaken on 293 cells at 37°C unless otherwise indicated (supernatant from the Pac3 infection at day 10 was also titered on HeLa cells at 37°C). Ad5ts125 CLL infections were undertaken at 33°C and 37°C and the supernatants were assayed at 33°C and 37°C, as indicated. Results are presented as plaque forming units per milliliter of culture.
