Confluent hypoxic HepG2 cultures were incubated with IL-1β 300 pg/mL or TNF-α 10 ng/mL for 24 hours. Immunoreactive EPO and VEGF165 were related to the total cellular protein level of the cultures (mean ± SD of 4 experiments).
