SDF-1 indicates stromal cell-derived factor-1; ND, not determined; PB, peripheral blood. Cultures were initiated with 3 × 10⁴ PB Inc⁺ CD34⁺ cells or 1 × 10³ PB Inc⁺ CD34^highCD38^low sorted cells and maintained as described in materials and methods.
