Cultured CD34⁺ cells were sorted into VLA-5^low and VLA-5^high fractions. The percent cells in S/G₂ + M was determined in each fraction by PI staining. The migration capacity was assessed toward MS-5 CM across Fn (n = 6) or BSA (n = 2).

P < .05 compared with migration of VLA-5^high cells across Fn.
