HeLa EGFP-654 and EGFP-705U cells transiently transfected with 0.25 μg U7 snRNA plasmids (3 independent experiments) were analyzed in terms of a fluorescence index (FI; percentage of cells scoring above the background threshold × mean fluorescence intensity of that cell subpopulation). Control, U7.SmOPT lacks the antisense sequence.
