The sense strand sequences of the double-stranded wild-type (WT) and mutant (A through N) synthetic oligonucleotides are shown and correspond to -81 to -61 in the rat carboxylase 5′-flanking region. The 12-bp sequence from -76 to -65 is indicated in bold in each of the oligonucleotide sequences. The mutated bases within the 12-bp sequence of oligonucleotides A through J are indicated in lowercase bold italics.
