Four days after isolation of CD34+ CB cells, mock-infected, or vector-infected cells sorted for GFP expression were plated in methylcellulose at 2 different cell concentrations and scored for colony formation and morphology after 11 days. Results are the average of 2 independent experiments, each performed in triplicate. CFU-GEMM indicates granulocyte-erythrocyte-megakaryocyte-macrophage colony-forming unit.
