Surface and intracytoplasmic VEGFR expression were determined using flow cytometry on permeabilized and nonpermeabilized cells, respectively. Mean VEGF production (pg/mL) was measured by ELISA assay in the supernatant of cells cultured in serum-free media for 24 hours.
