The mice are divided into age groups to take into account the progression of myelofibrosis in the GATA-1low mutants. The results are obtained by analyzing at least 50 individual MKs per experimental point and are presented as mean ± SD of data obtained in 3 individual mice per age group.

NA indicates electron microscopy not available because of fibrosis.
