Subconfluent cultures were incubated overnight in α-MEM plus 15% FBS medium with or without CSF-1 (120 ng/mL) or CSF-1 plus LPS (5 μg/mL) and the supernatants removed for IL-6 ELISA. Results are shown as the mean ± SD of secreted IL-6 in 2 independent supernatant samples.
ND indicates not detectable (< 15 pg/mL).
