Treatment-free remission in patients who discontinued the TRA while in response, according to the response they had achieved (response [R] or CR). In patients who discontinued TRAs while in response, the duration of response also included the time spent in response without any rescue medication after TRA discontinuation. Responding patients who underwent splenectomy or discontinued TRAs because of AEs were censored at the time of TRA discontinuation. Median treatment-free remission was 28 months for patients whose response was not complete, whereas it was not reached in patients with a complete response. CR: platelet count ≥ 100 × 10⁹/L; R: platelet count ≥30 × 10⁹/L and at least a twofold increase over the baseline count.¹
