At baseline (top), small chronic infarcts in the cerebellar hemispheres are well depicted on T2 weighted sequences (arrows) of a MRI done in routine clinical care for dizziness persisting 3 weeks after achieving clinical remission after a first iTTP episode, which were unchanged on the follow-up research scan. At 3-year follow-up, upon the research MRI (bottom), there are multifocal new small chronic infarcts in the left parietal cortical regions seen on axial FLAIR images (arrowheads).
