In contrast to nonanatomical variants, anatomical variant associated DVTs were more likely to receive interventional treatment involving thrombolysis (58% vs 1%; P < .0001), angioplasty (47% vs 0%; P < .0001), or thrombectomy (3% vs 1%; P = .251).
