Comparison of CCL2 levels between individuals with high and low CCL2 gene expression. Plasma from individuals with previously identified high (n = 20) and low (n = 20) levels of CCL2 gene expression was cultured with PBMCs. The conditioned media from these cultures was retained and CCL2 levels were determined via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
