Figure 2. H2O2 inhibits induction of IL-12 p40 and IL-12 p70 in PEC-derived macrophages from BALB/c mice. Peritoneal macrophages from BALB/c mice were cultured with LPS plus IFN-γ without or with H2O2 (250 μM). After 48 hours of stimulation, both IL-12 p40 (A) and IL-12 p70 (B) levels (mean ± SD) were measured in the culture supernatants and are representative of 3 experiments performed with similar results.
