Lsc is specifically enriched at the leading and trailing edges of fMLP-stimulated neutrophils. Confocal images of murine bone marrow neutrophils adhered to a glass coverslip and incubated with vehicle alone (-fMLP) or with 1 μM fMLP (+fMLP) for 5 minutes. The cells were then fixed, permeabilized, and labeled with anti-Lsc antibody (green) and phalloidin (red). The majority of Lsc is symmetrically distributed at the plasma membrane of unstimulated neutrophils. Lsc becomes enriched at the leading edge (solid arrowhead) and, to a lesser extent, the trailing edge of neutrophils stimulated with fMLP. Representative of 2 independent experiments.
