Fibrin deposition was monitored via red fluorescent antifibrin mAb during perfusion of WB through TNF-α–activated endothelialized channels at shear stress of 5 dynes/cm2. Accumulation of fibrin varies with increasing (A) concentration (1 ng/mL vs 10 ng/mL, each for 6 hours) and (B) duration (4 hours vs 6 hours, each 1 ng/mL) of TNF-α preactivation.
