DCA inhibits phosphorylation of Syk and PLCγ2 in convulxin-stimulated platelets. Washed platelets (0.2 × 109/mL) from human (A) and mouse (B) were preincubated with DCA (10 and 25 mM) for 10 minutes at room temperature and stimulated with convulxin (25 ng/mL) for 10 minutes. The upper panels in A and B show representative images of immunoblots of phospho-Syk (Tyr 525/526), total Syk, phospho-PLCγ2 (Tyr1217), and total PLCγ2.
