GATA-1::DNA complexes were formed by incubating either wild-type or Arg216Gln GATA-1 with 32P-labeled single GATA site or palindromic GATA site probes (top). One hundred–fold molar excess of corresponding unlabeled probe was then added att = 0 minute, and reaction mixtures were loaded onto gels at the indicated times (middle panels).
