Binding of ¹²⁵I-angiostatin to HUVECs with inhibition by HGF.

(A) HUVECs were cultured in 96-well plates, then incubated with¹²⁵I-angiostatin in the absence or presence of 100-fold molar excess of unlabled angiostatin as described in “Materials and methods.” Total, nonspecific, and specific binding are shown. (B)¹²⁵I-angiostatin (5 nM) was incubated with HUVECs in the absence or presence of increasing concentrations of HGF (75 nM-1.0 μM) or with 0.5 μM cold angiostatin. HGF inhibits¹²⁵I-angiostatin binding to HUVECs. Error bars indicate ± 1 SD.
