Alleviation of antibody-induced anemia by chronically administered liposomal clodronate.
Mice were injected with escalating doses of 34-3C (a murine antimurine RBC antibody) over a 31-day period. Mice were concurrently treated with weekly injections of liposomes containing either clodronate or PBS. Animals were bled at the end of this time to assess blood hemoglobin and reticulocyte counts.
