Ikaros expression in WT and Ik^L/L neutrophils.

(A) Ikaros promoter activity was measured in heterozygous Ik^+/L 16.5 dpc FL and adult BM cells using the Gr-1 marker to stain for granulocyte lineage cells and the substrate FDG to measure βgal activity. Note that all Ik^+/L BM Gr-1^locells express high levels of βgal, whereas Gr-1^hi cells express βgal at lower levels. (B) Immunofluorescence detection of Ikaros proteins (red) and cell nuclei (Hoechst staining in blue) in WT and homozygous Ik^L/L Gr-1^lo and Gr-1^hi BM cells (see Figure 5A for sorting gates).
