Kaplan-Meier plot of the survival of WT (n = 6), low-TF (n = 4), and WT mice treated with hirudin (n = 12) and PAR-1^−/− (n = 8) mice undergoing 25 minutes of bilateral renal ischemia and WT sham-operated mice (n = 4) 48 hours after surgery. Low-TF, WT-hirudin treated, and PAR-1^−/− mice all had significantly improved survival (P < .01).
