IAC-1 binding to α₂β₁ on RGDS-treated washed platelets under static adhesion conditions. Unstimulated or RGDS-treated washed platelets were allowed to adhere to immobilized collagen type III–coated coverslips for 60 minutes. After fixation and permeabilization, cells were incubated with phalloidin–Texas Red (200 nM) to stain actin and AK-7 (5 μg/mL), followed by a 1:50 dilution of rabbit anti–mouse IgG–FITC, to stain α₂β₁ or IAC-1–FITC (10 μg/mL) to stain activated α₂β₁.
