Serum pravastatin levels. (A) Serum pravastatin troughs (x-axis, ng/mL) were measured in patients prior to receiving their first dose of chemotherapy. As demonstrated in the figure, the pravastatin troughs remained relatively constant until a dose of at least 1280 mg pravastatin was given. Overall, there was an association between increasing pravastatin dose and serum level (Pearson correlation coefficient, R = 0.58), which was primarily due to a relationship between dose and serum levels of at least 1280 mg (Pearson correlation coefficient, R = 0.76).
