The dominance of memory CD4⁺ and CD4⁺Foxp3⁺ T cells over naive T cells shortly after BMT starts to reverse by day 55. Before BMT and on days 42, 55, and 81 spleens and LNs were harvested from killed animals (N = 3 per group), and by FACS analysis the percentage of CD44^high (memory) and CD45RB^high (naive) cells (A) as well as CD44^highFoxp3⁺ (memory Tregs) and CD45RB^highFoxp3⁺ (naive Tregs) cells were determined within the CD4⁺ T-cell population (B).
