B lymphocytes from Noxa^−/−/Bim^−/− mice resisted induction of apoptosis by AICAR. (A) B cells from WT, Bim^−/−, Noxa^−/−, and Puma^−/− and (B) B cells from WT, Bim^−/−, Bim^−/−/Noxa^−/−, Bim^−/−/Puma^−/−, and vav-BCL2 transgenic (BCL-2 tg) mouse spleen were incubated for 12 hours with AICAR in a range of concentrations (0.05, 0.1, 0.25, and 0.5mM). Viability was measured by flow cytometry, and it is expressed as the percentage of the viability of untreated cells.
