Comparison of 476 NHL patients treated (from 1980 to 2000) with doxorubicin-based chemotherapy with the Dutch population. Subgroups were selected to estimate the impact of age during NHL treatment, smoking, preexisting hypertension and additional salvage treatment (any type), radiotherapy (RT) of the mediastinum, and ASCT.
