VEGFR-2 in Rab11 vesicles is dephosphorylated. PAECs expressing VEGFR-2 and NRP-1 were transiently transfected with the indicated Rab constructs and stimulated with VEGF-A₁₆₅a for 30 minutes. Y1212-phosphorylated VEGFR-2 was present in Rab5, Rab4, and Rab7 vesicles (white arrows in panels A,B,D). Similar results were observed for Y1175 phosphorylation (supplemental Figure 5A). (C) No phosphotyrosine signal was observed for VEGFR-2 localized in Rab11 vesicles although the receptor localized to these vesicles (circles).
