Kaplan-Meier analysis of OS by treatment group in COMFORT-2. Updated analysis of survival data from COMFORT-2 now shows a survival benefit in favor of ruxolitinib treatment compared with those patients randomized to BAT. At an unplanned analysis at a median follow-up of 112 weeks (ruxolitinib 113; BAT 108) and median duration of exposure of 111.4 weeks, patients who were randomized to the ruxolitinib arm showed longer survival than those randomized up front to BAT. This survival advantage remains statistically significant despite the fact that those BAT patients that were discontinued from the core study were immortalized and thus considered alive at the time of this analysis.
