CT scan of liver, explanted liver, and response to exchange blood transfusions. (A) CT liver with contrast pretransplant. CT abdomen with intravenous contrast in July 2011 (just prior to transplant) demonstrated long-standing changes, including a nodular liver with left lobe hypertrophy, biliary dilatation, varices (splenic, umbilical, and retroperitoneal), and moderate ascites.
