hIgGs reconstitute aggregation to bacteria in washed platelets. Aggregation reactions to S sanguinis 133-79, S aureus Newman, S gordonii DL1, and S oralis CR834 were performed in washed platelets in the presence or absence of fibrinogen (1 mg/mL) and hIgGs (0.1 mg/mL). For S aureus Newman, IgG-depleted fibrinogen was used as previously published.⁴⁰  One representative reaction of 3 independent experiments per strain is shown.
