(A) Platelet-poor plasma (equal volume) and (B) isolated platelets (equal number) from conditional Lman1 knockout mice and littermate control mice were analyzed for relative FV antigen levels by western blot. The same plasma samples were run twice as duplicates. Plasma immunoglobulin G serves as a loading control for the plasma samples, and β-actin serves as a loading control for platelets. Three adult mice were analyzed per genotype. Plasma from F5−/− mice carrying a platelet-specific F5 transgene30 was included as a negative control for the plasma samples. Similarly, platelets isolated from a F5−/− mouse carrying a hepatocyte-specific F5 transgene30 were included as a negative control for the platelet samples.
