Analysis of coagulation and fibrinolytic markers in peritoneal fluids and plasma and the effect of heparin on adhesion band formation. (A) The concentrations of TAT complex for all groups were determined by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. (B) The effect of therapeutic unfractionated heparin (100 U/mouse) on adhesion grades (10 mice/group) was compared with the effects of APC and Seprafilm using Nair et al’s31 and Leach et al’s6 scoring systems. (C) The concentrations of tPA in peritoneal fluids of different treatment groups were determined by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The concentrations of d-dimer in peritoneal fluids (D) or in plasma (E) for all groups were determined by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
